Amanda Tickle - Managing Director
Amanda is an experienced facilitator and trainer having spent 17 years as a Navigator and Weapons Systems Officer in the Royal Air Force. She now utilizes these skills as a freelance Consultant, responsible for the design, delivery and management of programmes for corporate, public and private sector organizations throughout the UK. Amanda demonstrates a profound understanding of the skills required to motivate, lead and mentor diverse teams to achieve challenging targets in complex and dynamic environments and has an innate appreciation of business skills training needs, managerial challenges and team development needs. With extensive experience in the field of human factors, crew resource management and team dynamics Amanda has successfully completed a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved Crew Resource Management (CRM) Train the Trainer Course, is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and holds a post-graduate Certificate and Diploma in Management through the Institute. Amanda is also a qualified master practitioner in Relationship Awareness Theory and the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI®), European Mobile Team Challenge© Appreciative Facilitator and qualified management coach and mentor through the Institute of Leadership and Management. As an Associate Facilitator for Personal Strengths (UK) Ltd Amanda is one of only 4 people in the United Kingdom qualified to facilitate the SDI® Train the Trainer programme. Amanda also works as the Senior Associate (Personal Development) for Viable Ventures Ltd, a cutting-edge Business Improvement Company that offers extensive and proven skills to help clients in any sector achieve major cost reductions and gain cutting-edge, competitive advantage.
Stu Brett - Associate Trainer
Stu joined the Pinnacle team in 2009 and is a current serving Royal Air Force Engineering Officer with experience in command, leadership and management. Stu has a wealth of experience in the management of personnel at all levels, both in the UK and abroad, and has been responsible for improving efficiency and output of individuals and departments, improving performance management and addressing conflict. Stu has also been responsible for the delivery of leadership training, team dynamics and communication skills to new RAF officer cadets joining the Service, during which time he also acted as mentor to both students and staff in this exceptionally challenging environment. Stu has an intrinsic ability to identify the key requirements in ensuring that output is achieved and for getting the best out of people. Recent experience includes overall responsibility for large change management programs, working closely with customers to ensure the programs are delivered on time and that operational output is maintained. With extensive experience in the delivery of individual and team leadership, followership, conflict management, personal development and mentoring, Stu has delivered training programmes to a range of organisations within the Armed Forces and the commercial sector. Stu is also a qualified practitioner in Relationship Awareness Theory and the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI®), holds a Chartered Management Institute Level 7 Executive Diploma in Management and has successfully completed the Royal Air Force Intermediate Command and Staff Course.
Malcolm Aldridge - Associate Consultant
Malcolm is an experienced consultant delivering a wide variety of projects to numerous satisfied clients. His talent is in working with people to help them get the best from themselves, their people and their organisation. With an engineering background, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and being a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), he is sensitive to both the business and the people issues that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of different organisations.
Over the last few years, Malcolm has specialised in skills; carrying out a number of skills related studies across Scotland, producing training material, providing train-the-trainer courses and delivering bespoke training packages to schools, businesses and organisations.
Introduced to NLP during his MBA, Malcolm realised the encompassing approach adopted by NLP would be hugely beneficial to his clients. He became a Practitioner in 2004 and a Master Practitioner in 2006. He uses it daily in his own work and incorporates its thinking into the training and personal development courses he develops and delivers for others.
